If you like all things apple, then you're in for a treat this September as Dufflet cafés will add two new cakes to the line-up that will be available until Thanksgiving.

Apple Spice Cake (6") has a moist apple spice batter topped with cream cheese icing and loads of caramel drizzle.

(8") has a buttery batter baked with brown sugar cinnamon apples and smothered in caramel.

Made with a seriously moist spiced pumpkin batter (topped with a spiced cream cheese frosting), I barely had time to snap the photo above before staff attacked it like ninjas with forks.

Scary, yes, but delicious too. You may want to eat yours hiding under your bed.

Dufflet-Beach extended hours during Beaches Jazz Festival!

Open late for your jazz snacking needs! Dufflet-Beach (1917 Queen Street East, east of Woodbine) will be open late this weekend to help you enjoy the Beaches International Jazz Festival!

Extended hours:
Thursday July 25th  9am - 10pm
Friday July 26th  9am - 10pm
Saturday July 27th  10am - 11pm

Keep your eyes open for our adorable Jazz cupcakes, perfectly suitable for eating in our dining room or toting along for a sidewalk munch.

FYI Road Closure: During Beaches Jazz StreetFest, on the nights of Thursday July 25th, Friday July 26th, and Saturday July 27th, Queen Street E. will be closed from Woodbine Ave. to Beech Ave. from 6:00 pm to 11:30 pm nightly. The north / south streets of Waverley Ave., Wineva Ave., and Lee Ave. will remain open throughout the evening.

Tour de Dufflet 2013 prize winners...

A big round of applause (and a choir of bike bells) to the 112 riders who took the Eat More Cake, Ride More Bike challenge and rode the 2013 Tour de Dufflet during Toronto Bike Month in June!
