It's pretty cool seeing my boss on posters around town to promote an also cool event, the Small Business Forum, hosted by the City of Toronto.
This is a free, all-day event that has a lot going for it, from motivational speakers to exhibits to seminars to Toronto's Next Great Food Product Contest. If you run your own business, or are thinking of starting one, this is a great event to network at and learn from.
Dufflet Rosenberg is one of three food industry experts who will panel Toronto’s Next Great Food Product Contest (1:30p – 3p) where 5 finalist entrepreneurs will pitch their unique and creative commercial food concepts.
The panel includes:
Christine Cushing, Celebrity Chef, christinecushing.com @ccfearless
John Mastroianni, Manager, Pusateri's Fine Foods, pusateris.com @PusaterisFoods
Dufflet Rosenberg, Founder and CEO, Dufflet Pastries, dufflet.com @dufflet

If you celebrate Canadian Thanksgiving, be sure to pre-order your Pumpkin Pies, Tarts and Cheesecakes NOW for the long weekend.
If you're American (or just a pumpkin dessert lover like me) these items will be available through to November 22.
All 3 Dufflet locations will be closed for Thanksgiving on Monday, Oct 8th, but will be open regular hours on Saturday and Sunday.
Pictured above is our Pumpkin Pie. You can see what our Brandy Pumpkin Cheesecake looks like here, and our fab Pumpkin Tart here.
It's ok to drool. I know I did.
