We found more chocolate! Dufflet pop-up shop day 2!

We have a few more boxes of yumminess in Day 2 of our super-sweet last minute pop-up shop at Dufflet Pastries at 166 Norseman Street (Etobicoke) from 11am to 4pm today.

We have overstock on Easter Chocolates and some overruns on a few pastry desserts.

Too cute and delicious too, all 3 Dufflet locations have Easter confections available now. From marzipan cake & cupcake decorations, to gourmet filled eggs and adorable chocolate figurines, there's something sweet for everyone on your Easter hunt list.

New products daily, stock up now and avoid the rush next week. And in case you didn't know, all Dufflet locations will be closed on Good Friday, April 6th but will be open Easter Sunday, April 8th.

dufflet, what is THAT on your head?

Maybe not as classic an image as Dufflet Rosenberg's "cake head" photo by Jim Allen (yes, that's a real Triple Chocolate Mousse Cake up there), but I'm going to post this anyway.

Dufflet was at a dinner party this weekend for for a friend's Canadian citizenship party. Everyone wore 'elton john' glasses and different animal hats - because that's how us Canadians like to celebrate!

Asides from the hat-envy I feel, I really wish I'd been invited as Dufflet made a special dessert for the occasion, a maple budino and apple caramel tart. Now that's totes Canadian!

On Saturday night, before you go to bed, remember to set your clocks ahead one hour! When you get up on Sunday, it will say 10am, but it will feel like 9am. That's ok, you'll get over it.

george brown students eat more cake

That's my headline and I'm sticking to it. 

Actually, the truth is our Queen West cafe had a visit from Sarah and Martha from George Brown's Bakery and Pastry Arts program who are making a sweep of the area to see out how bakeries and cafes market themselves with branded packaging and such. 

On the table, inside the cheery green Dufflet box, sits a Hazelnut Cakelet® as a reward for their due diligence. All study should be this sweet!
