Saddle up; Hero for a Month is back!

.

.
Dufflet Pastries is proud to participate again in Second Harvest's workplace fundraising initiative Second Harvest Hero to help feed Toronto's hungry.

For a 3rd year Dufflet Pastries will donate $1.00 from every 4” Cowboy Cookie sold (price $2.00 each) February 1-28, 2015 at all 3 Dufflet cafe locations.

What's in a Cowboy Cookie? Chunks of dark chocolate and marshmallows, raisins, coconut, peanuts and oats. What's in a Hero? Umm, I guess a cowboy cookie, yes?

There are loads of ways that you can get your workplace to participate too, so check out secondharvesthero.ca for cool ideas on how to help.

From their site: "Every $10 raised allows Second Harvest to rescue and deliver enough food to provide 20 healthy meals for those in need, so lettuce give! This year, Lunch Money Days will be celebrated the week of February 25, 2013."

For a 2nd year, Dufflet Pastries will donate $1.00 from every 4” Cowboy Cookie sold (price $1.80 each) for the entire month of February at all 3 Dufflet locations.

What's in a Cowboy Cookie? Chunks of dark chocolate and marshmallows, raisins, coconut, peanuts and oats.
