Imagine a sweet and buttery 1.5" tart shell painted with chocolate on the inside, then filled with scrumptious pastry cream and crowned with a mound of plump, fresh blueberries.

jazzing it up for the weekend ...

The annual Beaches jazz festival continues with Streetfest and concerts at Kew Gardens this weekend while Dufflet celebrates spinning the sweet stuff for 35 years with a special window at her Beach location at 1917 Queen St. E. (just east of Woodbine).

During StreetFest, on the nights of Thursday July 22, Friday July 23, and Saturday July 24, 2010, Queen Street E. will be closed from Woodbine Ave. to Beech Ave. from 6:00 pm to 11:30 pm nightly. The north / south streets of Waverley Ave., Wineva Ave., and Lee Ave. will remain open throughout the evening.
